This is a gorgeous Redwood table. The piece of wood was milled from the stump of a tree from the redwood fires quite a few years ago. The piece is thoroughly dried, there is no finish on it, with a live edge, partial freeform edge where it was milled (means a chainsaw was used to make the flat edge look live, on one side) The piece has been finish sanded with 220 grit, the piece of wood has wonderful burl, and flame, you can see in the pictures it is a unique piece of art. We recomend a Danish oil for the most natural finish, which looks amazing on this style table, but we sell it raw, sanded so you can decide yourself. Slab sits on base, not attached so base can be swapped, the real gem is the slab top. The natural color is wonderful and the top is 3" thick.
